About The Practical CTO
I've spent over a decade working at the intersection of enterprise technology and business strategy — advising large organizations on AI adoption, cloud migration, ERP transformation, and cybersecurity architecture.
This blog exists because most enterprise tech content falls into one of two traps: it's either vendor marketing dressed up as analysis, or it's academically correct but useless in practice. I write for the people in the middle — IT leaders, architects, and decision-makers who need to cut through the noise and make real calls.
What I cover: Enterprise AI and LLMs in production, SAP and ERP modernization, cloud platform strategy, Zero Trust security, and emerging tech that actually matters for large organizations.
My perspective: I'm not neutral. I have opinions formed from watching these technologies succeed and fail in real deployments. When the data says one thing and the vendor says another, I go with the data.
If something I write is wrong or outdated, call it out in the comments. That's how this gets better.
